Richard Hawley on Scott Walker’s Telecaster and their Friendship

In their working relationship, which began in 2001 during the recording of Pulp’s We Love Life, Richard Hawley and Scott Walker developed a friendship. Richard talks about inheriting Scott Walker’s Telecaster guitar from Walker’s family, the instrument’s worn condition, the repairs it required, and how it became central to the recording of his last album In This City They Call You Love.
